COOK opens in West Wickham

February 2015: COOK, creator of remarkable food for your freezer, is opening a new shop in West Wickham.

The COOK shop at 77 High Street opens on Friday 6th February and offers a wide range of award-winning meals and puddings that look and taste homemade.

Since the company’s launch in 1997, COOK has been providing delicious food for those who don’t have the time or inclination to always cook themselves. COOK’s founding principle was to use exactly the same techniques and ingredients that a good domestic cook would use at home, so everything looks and tastes homemade. Today, nothing has changed and COOK continues to make its meals by hand at the COOK Kitchen in Kent.

As proof of its handmade nature, the name of the individual chef who cooked each dish is printed on the packaging. Because COOK’s food is blast frozen at -35°C all the nutrients and flavour are locked in so it tastes freshly made when it’s removed from the oven or microwave (all dishes can be cooked from frozen). The COOK range includes:

• Everyday meals for busy people in one and two portions such as Lasagne al Forno, Moroccan Spiced Lamb Tagine, Classic Fish Pie and Green Thai Chicken.

• Amazing curries such as Chicken Jalfrezi, Lamb Dupiaza and Keralan Prawn, with sides of Saag Paneer, Gobi Curry and Tarka Dal.

• Mouth-watering OMG lunch pots all with less than 400 calories and 14g of fat, including Virtuous Veggie, Nasi Goreng, Prawn Tom Yum, Chicken Noodle Laksa and Caribbean Chicken with Rice and Beans.

• Posh dishes for entertaining including Beef Bourguignon, Salmon en Croute, Huntsman Chicken and Cod with Samphire.

• Indulgent desserts such as Chocolate & Salted Caramel Pavlova and White Chocolate and Raspberry Cheesecake and cakes such as Triple Layered Carrot Cake and Belgium Chocolate Cake.

• Children’s meals and organic baby food
