- It's made with Barbers Cheddar, mascarpone, Italian hard cheese and provolone.
- It's rich and indulgent but the blended cauliflower we've added to it helps to bring balace both on flavour and nutrition.
- Can be cooked from frozen in the microwave, or cooked on the hob from defrost.
- Perfect for a speedy family supper (it'll easily stretch to four, stirred through pasta).
What to Serve with Four Cheese Sauce:
- Serve tossed with some cooked pappardelle pasta and some sliced chestnut mushrooms sautéed in garlic with picked thyme leaves.
- For a pasta bake, perfect for a midweek meal, stir through some cooked pasta, add some diced cooked onion and fried smokey bacon pieces, scatter over some grated cheddar cheese or some fresh breadcrumbs for a bit of crunch and bake until browned.
- For a quick easy homemade cauliflower cheese, roast some cauliflower florets, pour over the sauce, sprinkle over a little more cheese and bake until browned.
- If making a homemade Lasagne or Fish Pie, use this sauce as a quick easy cheesy sauce instead of your usual béchamel.
- For something fancy, pour a couple of tablespoons over a twice baked soufflé when you put them back into the oven for a second bake.
