Hello COOK Bath!

The new COOK Bath finally flipped its sign to Open for the first time on Monday 10th May. Opening day for any COOK shop is something to celebrate, but after this hugely challenging year for our highstreets, this one feels extra special.

COOK Bath can be found in Bear Flat, a large residential area just outside of the city centre – a site we first noticed about 10 years ago. Rather conveniently, it’s next door to a very friendly Majestic Wines, who brought round a bottle of Prosecco on opening day. Certainly, a match made in heaven.

A fresh lick of paint...

It’s been over two years since we had a new shop and, as times have changed, so too has the concept of what a COOK shop can be. The new COOK Bath has digital screens both above the till and in the window to help us cut down on our single-use printed signage; there’s a new-style counter with built-in freezers; in the back, we have a delivery hub with a private entrance for our drivers; there’s a washer/dryer for those tea towels (to cut down on paper towels); and even a back-of-house training area for our team.

With the bright and airy windows alongside that signature COOK decor, it looks lovely.

If you’re in the Bear Flat area, do pop down. We’d love to see you. There’s parking in front of the shop, and we’ll even be staying open until 8pm on weekdays, and 7pm on Saturdays. Dinner saviours indeed!
