Can a pork ball be sophisticated? We reckon these balls get darn close. Lightly-spiced pork mince, rolled by hand into balls and coated with sesame seeds, served in a perfectly balanced sweet-and-sour sauce. Sensational.

Ingredients

AT COOK WE USE THE SAME INGREDIENTS YOU WOULD USE AT HOME.

We never put additives or preservatives into our food. We do occasionally use kitchen cupboard ingredients that include some additives in their sub-ingredients (for example some of our curry pastes, which contain Citric Acid).

Pork (25%), Water, Tomato Juice, Malt Vinegar [contains Gluten], Yellow Peppers (8%), Red Peppers (8%), Onion, Demerara Sugar, Sesame Seeds (4%), Pineapple Juice, Thai Fish Sauce [contains Fish], Honey, Spring Onions, Sesame Oil [contains Soya, Sesame], Tomato Puree, Garlic, Salt, Lemongrass Puree [contains Sulphites], Corn Oil, Gluten Free Plain White Flour Blend, Ginger Puree, Cornflour, Light Soy Sauce [contains Soya, Gluten], Cinnamon, Coriander, Szechuan Pepper, Star Anise, Fennel Seeds, Cloves.

Thai Fish Sauce contains: Water, Anchovy Fish Extract, Salt, Sugar. Sesame Oil contains: Soya Oil, Sesame Oil. Lemongrass Puree contains: Lemon Grass, Lemon Juice, Salt. Cooking/Serving Instructions

These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a personality of its own (or a different power rating). Please adjust accordingly.

1 Portion

Oven:

Pre-heat oven. Remove cardboard sleeve and pierce film lid. Place onto a baking tray and cook in the top of the oven for 25 minutes. Remove the film and cook for a further 10-15 minutes. Allow to stand for 2 minutes. Ensure food is piping hot before serving.

Oven Settings

Fan 170°C, Electric 190°C, Gas Mark 5.
35-40 minutes

Microwave:

Remove sleeve and pierce film lid. Place on a microwaveable plate and cook on full power for 3 minutes. Partially peel back the film, stir, replace film and cook for a further 3 minutes. Allow to stand for 1 minute & stir well before serving.

MICROWAVE Cat E*850W* full power for 3 mins - stir - further 3 mins - stand for 1 min - stir

Extra Warnings:

Caution: Steam may be released when removing film lid. Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and eat within 2 days. Follow the oven cooking guidelines but cook for 10 minutes, remove film lid and cook for a further 10 minutes.

2 Portion

Oven:

Pre-heat oven. Remove cardboard sleeve and pierce film lid. Place onto a baking tray and cook in the top of the oven for 30 minutes. Remove the film and cook for a further 10-15 minutes. Allow to stand for 2 minutes. Ensure food is piping hot before serving.
