How We Make It

Cooked beetroot is blitzed with créme fraiche, lemon and dill to make a smooth paste. Crumbled feta is melted with double cream, whisked and piped on top. More feta is crumbled on top, with toasted pine nuts that compliment the earthiness of the beetroot perfectly. Spring onions are added as a garnish for colour and texture.

Serve With

A green salad with fresh mint and dill, and a simple dressing of extra virgin olive oil and sweet balsamic glaze and boiled new potatoes dressed with mint or our courgette linguine - Lyndsay shows you just how easy it is to make the courgette linguine here

We never put additives or preservatives into our food. We do occasionally use kitchen cupboard ingredients that include some additives in their sub-ingredients (for example Worcestershire Sauce used in our Spaghetti Bolognese, which contains Tamarind Extract).

Puff Pastry (39%) [Milk, Wheat Gluten], Beetroot (29%), Feta Cheese (12%) [Milk], Crème Fraiche [Milk], Double Cream [Milk], Pine Kernals, Spring Onions, Dill Paste [Sulphites], Semi Skimmed Milk, Salt, Lemon Juice, Sugar.

OVEN COOK FROM FROZEN

Oven:

Preheat oven. Remove packaging and place tart on a baking tray with the silicon paper provided. Place in the centre of the oven.

Oven Settings

Fan 170°C, Electric 190°C, Gas Mark 5.
20-25 mins
Allow to rest for 5 mins and ensure piping hot before serving.

Defrost Instructions:

Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and eat within 48 hours. Follow the oven guidelines but cook for 12-15 mins.
