Try it with:
- Great with creamy mash or roast potatoes

How We Make It At Our Kitchen
- We start our Champagne sauce by sautéing shallots in butter, adding a little white wine and bay leaves and reduce before adding roast chicken stock, double cream and a little lemon juice.
- The sauce is then finished with Champagne – adding it at the end really emphasises the flavour.
- The chicken breasts are roasted, skin on, until golden.
