Festive Nibbles
Christmas nibbles are great for keeping everyone going when Christmas dinner is served up a little later than planned … happens to the best of us! They also make it a doddle to host a drinks party, all you need to do is pop a selection in the oven then pop a cork or two. Conveniently, our hot canapés all cook from frozen in less than 25 minutes at the same temperature. George (one of our Development Chefs) has chosen a selection which he serves simply with a few dips on a bread board:
If you’re wondering about quantities, we reckon around four Christmas canapés per person per hour will be about right to see your guests through an occasion; and for drinks only, about 6.
One of the great things about our frozen canapés is that you can just cook what you need, and the rest can stay in the freezer for another occasion. It’s easy to keep an eye on when the Christmas nibbles need replenishing, and it’s comforting to know that you won’t run out if the freezer’s stocked up, but also that food won’t go to waste if you have fewer people than expected.
Don’t forget to include a few Christmas vegetarian food options too, labelling the breadboard up with chalk is quite a nice way of telling your guests what they’re eating.
“Congratulations Cook on preparing canapés that can be cooked straight from the freezer and best of all, they’re all cooked at the same oven temperature and time meaning less faffing about when you’re trying to get drinks and everything ready for your guests.” - Diana, 5* Trustpilot
