How We Make It At Our Kitchen

We make a rich thermidor sauce by sweating onions and garlic in butter before adding paprika, double cream, brandy and lobster stock. The crisp pastry cups are handmade by our pastry chefs, pressing sheets of delicate pastry into rings and baking until crisp and lightly golden. The cups are then filled with whole queen scallops and crayfish tails, covered with the thermidor sauce and topped with a light crumb made from Gran Padano cheese and parsley. A real treat.

We never put additives or preservatives into our food. We do occasionally use kitchen cupboard ingredients that include some additives in their sub-ingredients (for example some of our curry pastes, which contain Citric Acid).

Pastry (24%) [Wheat Gluten], Queen Scallops (12%) [Molluscs], Double Cream (10%) [Milk], Onions, Brandy (8%), Crayfish (7%) [Crustaceans], Wheat Flour, Lobster Stock (6%) [Crustaceans, Fish], White Bread [Wheat Gluten, Soya], Garlic, Butter [Milk], Grana Padano Cheese [Egg, Milk], Lemon Juice, Tomato Puree, Parsley, Paprika.

Wheat Flour contains: Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Nicotinamide (Vit B3), Thiamine Hydrochloride (Vit B1)). Cooking/Serving Instructions

These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a personality of its own (or a different power rating). Please adjust accordingly.

OVEN COOK FROM FROZEN

Oven:

Preheat oven. Remove the cups from all packaging and place directly onto a baking tray. Cook in the centre of the oven.

Oven Settings

Fan 180°C, Electric 200°C, Gas Mark 6.
20 mins
Ensure piping hot and allow to rest for 5 mins before serving.

Defrost Instructions:

Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and eat within 48 hours. Follow the oven guidelines but cook for 12 mins.
